2-Days Format:

State–of–the art lectures in the morning covering the major aspects of thromboembolic events with a focus on Obstetric and Peripartal aspects in the perioperative management in clinical situations. Lectures covering the basics, case presentation by participants and roundtables fostering interaction and exchange of knowledge and clinical experiences among medical specialities involved in the optimal treatment and optimizing outcome of patients.

Who will be available for discussion, questions and academic interactions either in person or via Zoom sessions.

Maximal 30 invited participants from different countries and regions.
Learn about  the different ways and strategies  to improve the outcome of patients  facing thromboembolic challenges in the obstetric/peripartal  setting.  Lectures and interactive sessions (Forum, case presentation sessions by participants) providing  substrate for questions, discussion and exchange of experiences.
Share your experiences in different working environments – differences –similarities and work out the best real world/goal directed implementation strategy for your patients  in your working environment.

Secluded Environment and Campus Atmosphere:
Campus atmosphere promoting intense academic exchange, discussions and networking during the seminar days.

Application – Evaluation – Invitation process:

Interested candidates  (Anesthesiologists/ICU Specialists, Obstetricians,
Transfusionists, Midwifes/Nurses, Laboratory Professionals ) are asked to fill in and submit an application
form together with a recent CV. Please submit your application via  Apply Button on the top
A scientific board consisting of the course directors will evaluate the applications and based on a
predefined set of parameters (speciality, geography, gender, potential to share and implement
gained information in the working setting…) will decide on a list of participants to be invited to attend.

CME Credits:
7 CME Credits have been granted by SGAIM (Schweizer Gesellschaft für Allgemeine Innere Medizin)
9 CME Credits  have been applied for at SGGG (Schweizer Gesellschaft für Gynäkologie and Geburtshilfe)

Costs:
According to transparancy requirements of CME granting entities a participation fee of 300.- CHF  per accepted passive participant (no active contribution either lecture or case presentation)  for coverage of hospitality costs has to be paid.
