Perioperative Medicine: Focus on “Mother and Child”

This is a 5 day academic event, held at the secluded Campus environment at Schloss Leopoldskron, Salzburg, Austria, chosen to encourage open academic exchange, discussions and networking over the course of the programme.
The programme comprises state–of–the art lectures in the morning covering the specific aspects of Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Neonatology & Paediatric (Cardiac) Surgery in the context of Perioperative Bleeding Management.
While the overall agenda contains common lectures, the Seminar has two separate focuses, and successful applicants will fall into one of two groups, either
- POM in Obstetrics/Gynecology + Pediatrics
- Pediatric (Cardiac) Surgery
the agenda will vary depending on which group the participants fall into.

Fostering interaction and exchange of knowledge and clinical experiences between all medical specialities involved in the optimal treatment of patients. A renowned international faculty will be available for informal discussion both in the lecture hall and during meals and coffee breaks. Learn through discussions and case sessions about the different ways patients are diagnosed and treated in different health care systems. Share their experiences in different working environment – differences –similarities and work out the best real world/goal directed implementation strategy. Maximal 40 personally-invited participants from different countries and regions.
