Serdar Gunaydin

Serdar Gunaydin, MD is a Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery. Prof. Günaydin graduated from the Ege University, Izmir, Turkey and from postgraduate studies at the University of Birmingham, Great Britain and the University of Leyden, Netherlands. His specialisation as a Cardiovascular Surgeon was obtained from Gazi University, School of Medicine, Ankara-Turkey and Heinrich Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany (DAAD Scholarship). Besides his PhD in Histology & Embryology from Gazi University he also did a PhD in Tissue Engineering & Biomaterial Science at Heart Institute of Japan, Tokyo Medical College, Japan (MONBUSHO Scholarship). He currently holds a Professorship and is the Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at Numune Training & Research Hospital, Ankara,Turkey.
