Corina Cardaniuc

Corina Cardaniuc, MD, PhD, Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a certified OB/GYN specialist, who provides care in all aspects of women’s health including physiological and pathological obstetrics, management of gynecological pathologies, family planning, gynecologic surgery. Dr. Corina Cardaniuc was born and raised in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, where she completed schooling. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr T Popa”, Iasi Romania. Her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology was completed at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu” from Chisinau. Following residency, Dr. Cardaniuc spent four years as a PhD research fellow at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”, being employed after that as an Assistant and later an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Cardaniuc practiced obstetrics and gynecology at the City Maternity Hospital from Chisinau, providing care to women and assisting in the clinical education of medical students and OB/GYN residents. In 2014, Dr Cardaniuc completed the School of Public Health Management, State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, obtaining the Master’s degree in Public Health Management. In 2018 she completed the fellowship in  Advanced Certificate in Research Ethics in Central and Eastern Europe at Clarkson University, USA. Dr Cardaniuc is also the Coordinator of Obstetrical Department of Simulation Center from Chisinau. In January 2020, Dr Cardaniuc accepted the position as Manager of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at International Hospital Medpark. Dr Cardaniuc has extensive experience in the diagnosis, medical and surgical management of common gynecologic needs such as abnormal bleeding, endometriosis, uterine and adnexal pathology, gynecologic cancer screening and pre-invasive disease treatment She is an expert in minimally-invasive gynecological surgical approaches, her specialization and years of experience have made her skilled in managing high-risk pregnancies and complicated and/or operative deliveries.Her research interests include evaluation of tumors of reproductive organs; her publications addressed the area of uterine myoma, endometrial and cervical cancer, analgesia in labor, uterine hemorrhage and dysmenorrhea. Dr Cardaniuc served as primary investigator or co-investigator in many projects and studies.Dr Cardaniuc currently runs her practice at the Medpark International Hospital. She lives in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
